The Seagate Hotel, Golf & Beach Club, Autograph Collection

“My wife and I recently enjoyed a four-night anniversary getaway at The Seagate Hotel, Golf & Beach Club, Autograph Collection, and we highly recommend it. Our fourth-floor room (440) overlooked the pool and was one of the quietest hotel rooms we have enjoyed in recent memory. The room felt spacious thanks to its high ceilings and thoughtful layout. We appreciated the comfortable sitting area, abundant drawer space, Nespresso coffee setup, excellent shower pressure, Le Labo bath amenities, and convenient one-touch lighting controls. One of the property's greatest strengths is its Beach Club. While the hotel itself is located a few blocks from the Atlantic Ocean, a complimentary shuttle takes guests to the private Beach Club in just a few minutes. The Beach Club features an oceanfront pool, beachfront dining, and attentive staff who set up umbrellas, chairs, and towels. We especially enjoyed having front-row beach chairs and an umbrella waiting for us, allowing us to relax and enjoy the beach without worrying about logistics. The location is another plus. We enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants, shops, and cafés around Atlantic Avenue while still having easy access to the beach. As Marriott Titanium Elite members, we appreciated the meaningful recognition we received, including early check-in, late checkout, welcome amenities, and food-and-beverage credits. The late checkout allowed us to enjoy one more relaxing morning at the Beach Club followed by lunch overlooking the ocean before heading to the airport. Most of all, however, we will remember the people. Hospitality is ultimately about human connections, and the team at The Seagate excels in that regard. Breakfast server Kennedi was exceptional. She immediately created a connection with us, always greeted us with a smile, exuded positive energy, and was remarkably attentive. Breakfast felt less like dining in a hotel restaurant and more like being welcomed into the home of a good friend. In more than 40 years as a Marriott guest, I would place Kennedi among the top one percent of associates who have helped shape a memorable guest experience. We would also like to recognize Matthew, Curtis, Torrance, Carlos, Sophia, Chris, Nelly, and Natalia for helping make our stay so enjoyable. The Beach Club explains why we enjoyed the stay. “This is one of our many stays at the Seagate in Delay Beach, FL. The accommodations are excellent and the staff is fabulous. The Beach Club's pool on the beach front is a sanctuary of hospitality, serenity and service. Perry, Juan and Cash at the pool love their jobs. Samie and Paul in the Beach Club's dining room are attentive, pleasant and polite. We have always had a tremendous holiday here. “Spent a few nights at the Seagate Hotel and enjoyed every part of it. City view with a balcony room was reserved and that's what I received. Room was clean and well decorated and great sitting areas with a large couch and desk. Lobby, restaurants and entire property was very clean and there were tons of staff on site at all times. Great location but if you want to be near all the restaurants you will have a little walk or their shuttle service will take you anywhere within 3 miles. The beach club was a super nice addition that other lotels don't have. I loved the pool, well shaded, if you're looking for sun you'll need to go to the beach. Overall all this is a great property that's not high end but is nicer then a standard hotel. They do have nightly turn down service, shuttle service, bikes and great restaurants my only reason to say it's not higher end is because it's an old property that has been refreshed. They did a wonderful job but you can only do souch with older buildings in an established footprint. I would assume in the high season people might have a different review however everyone there was great and I would stay there any time of year.”
